How to Re-Assign a Request

You can now transfer Medchart requests to your colleagues! Whether you are going away on vacation or simply handing over a client's file to a coworker, you can easily change who a request is assigned to with just a few clicks. 

1. Go to your client's profile. You can navigate to your client's page by entering their name in the Search bar at the top of the screen. 

2. Scroll down to the the Requests/Records table and click the Details button of the request you need to re-assign under action. 

3. In the Request Details section, click the Pencil icon.

4. Use the drop down menu to select which user the request should be managed by and then click Save.

5. The Request Assigned To field will now be updated. The staff user you selected will now be able to work on this request (i.e. approving provider invoices) and receive all email notifications. 

Good job! You have completed the steps necessary to transfer a request.
